When LGBT+ people took to the streets last year for the first ever Pride march in eSwatini, formerly known as Swaziland, some hardly believed they could celebrate the event in a country where stigma is rife and gay sex remains illegal.

Switzerland: Protest against Intersex Genital Mutilations at Geneva University Hospitals

On the occasion of this year's Intersex Awareness Day, on October 26 the human rights group StopIGM.org, active in Geneva since 2008, is organising two peaceful vigils to protest the persistence of IGM practices at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG).
